This release is number three in my "Demos" series. I wanted to honor some heroes of mine. Geddy Lee is a pioneer in the world of bass and helped to push the instrument's possibilities in Rock and Roll, similar to what Stanley Clarke did in jazz, or Jaco did in his own genre. Also, like Les Claypool and Flea, Geddy brought the bass front and center so that people in main stream music were actually paying attention to it's sound. So, Fly By Night is my ode to Geddy. My wife came in when I recorded my first draft of this, and with no pun intended, says "it sounds a bit rushed".
